THE MAGIC OF BEAUTY OF A WOMAN

During Amrut Manthan a vessel full of Amrut emerged from the sea .The amrut had the power to make the person immortal therefore there was an argument between the devils & deities for the amrut & both insisted that they will drink the amrut first . In order to prevent devils from drinking the amrut , Lord Vishnu in the guise of extremely beautiful women appeared & suggested that she will distribute the amrut among both without any partiality .

Other deities recognized that she is incarnation of Lord Vishnu however the devils fail to recognize that they were deceived by Lord Vishnu as they were completely impressed with the most beautiful lady ...........Mohini. She took the advantage of the situation & distributed the amrut among Gods .

If Gods & devils are so influenced by beauty of women than what will be the plight of an ordinary man on seeing a gorgeous woman ?

what will be the plight of an ordinary man on seeing a gorgeous woman? says Moksha.

as if you don't know....are they not keeling over in a dead faint everywhere you go dear Moksha? if not, they need their eyes examined...

one part of the story i particularly liked was how Rahu went and put on the Devas' clothes, and hid himself along side the Devas, between Sun and Moon, because he recognised that Mohini wouldn't be giving him any Amrita if he stayed in the Demon line...and how he got just a drop of Amrita down his throat, as Mohini's sudarshana discus removed his now immortal head from his now immortally dead body....and then how Rahu and Ketu vowed revenge on Sun and Moon, chasing them around the sky, trying to eat them....because Sun and Moon told Mohini that Rahu was a demon hiding in the Devas' row, awaiting the Nectar....

Another excellent example of a drop dead beautiful Goddess (although actually ALL of them are drop dead beautiful, saving perhaps Dhumavati, who's getting older...) is Goddess Bhagalamukhi, whose beauty makes one's breath stop, and one's voice to freeze...such that one cannot breath or talk, one is so stunned....

pity us poor males of the species, who seeing Divine Mother's blow-your-mind beautiful daughters (who really are incarnations so to speak OF Her) are struck dumb with that Divine Beauty manifesting through those Daughters....

Bhagalamukhi lives and walks among us everywhere in the world, striking men senseless with her beauty as she walks by...leaving them helpless devotees of Her.
